What is a fanlisting?
In this case a fanlisting is a place for all the fans of a particular TV relationship to come together and build a listing of all the people around the world who are also fans. For more information on fanlistings please visit The Fanlistings.org for more information.
Why is this site called Broken Destiny?
I originally nicknamed this site 'You Can't Always Get What You Want' because at the end of the second House/Stacy episode Honeymoon this song plays over a montage during the closing scenes. I've always associated it with House and Stacy. It's what their relationship is about, wanting each other but not being in the right place at the right time to make it work. It's also about the fans who wanted House and Stacy together. We didn't get exactly what we wanted but we got what we needed, validation that it was true love. Thus the nickname 'You Can't Always Get What You Want'. However, long before this fanlisting was adopted out to me I'd had the idea for and purchased a domain for a House/Stacy fansite, broken-destiny.org. Destiny because they are meant to be together and broken because of all that's happened they can't be. It's an oxymoron and rolls off the tongue. Anyway, the fansite never got off the ground and I used the domain for something else. After three weeks of owning the fanlisting I decided to bring the domain back and use it here. Hence the site is now called 'Broken Destiny'.
The Layout
The layout features a stock photo which can be found here and the fonts Century Gothic and Gelfing SF. The main picture of them was drawn by me.
